Australia

Nearly 12 per cent of Australian children fall below the poverty line. Despite Australia's wealth and high standard of living, many children struggle to reach their potential because they don’t have access to education, healthcare and protection services.

Founded in Australia in 1919, Save the Children has developed programs for Australian children since the 1950’s. The organisation’s education, health and wellbeing, and protection programs aim to brighten the outlook for many Australian children.
