Boots’n’all

24 August 2018, Impact of Our Work

Bringing the Peppa Pig love to Doveton for a splashing good time

Earlier in the month, the world’s most popular pig visited Save the Children’s playgroup in Doveton to go on a very special Muddy Puddle Walk. Throughout the month of August we have been encouraging day care centres, kindergartens, friends and family to pop on some gumboots, take their little ones outside, and do as Peppa loves to do…go splashing in muddy puddles!

Children from the playgroup got to meet Peppa while doing some indoor activities that encouraged them to explore, adventure and make new discoveries in their local environment. And all for the great cause of ensuring that children around the world get the chance to play and learn, be healthy and happy, no matter where they live or what they’re going through.

Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddle Walk encourages children to explore the world around them while joining Peppa for one of her favourite activities – jumping in muddy puddles! It was a day of vibrant colours and beaming smiles as the youngsters absolutely loved splashing around with their friends. The man-made mud pit was a highlight!

While campaign week is over you can still join in the muddy fun! Visit muddypuddlewalk.com.au for more information. Your support will make a huge difference to children living in Australia and around the world.
