Every 43 seconds, one child dies from pneumonia. In places like Uganda, the death toll from this deadly disease is still alarmingly high.

But a simple and effective treatment can help stop these preventable deaths.

Ugandan mum Evelyn watched her child literally gasping for breath. Seven-month-old Priscilla^* was extremely weak and nearly unconscious, her life hanging in the balance due to severe pneumonia.

But with intravenous antibiotics, oxygen therapy and fluids she recovered within days. There are many more children like Priscilla who still don’t get the medical treatment they deserve.
