Currently, no child in Gaza is safe as violence continues to escalate with no foreseeable end. Children in the region are enduring hunger, lack of shelter, limited access to medical assistance, and living in a state of terror.
“The constant sounds of bombing every moment and thinking how we will get food… Words cannot describe what we are living.” - Lina,* 16, daughter of a Save the Children staff member in Gaza.
Children in Gaza are cut off from the basics they need to survive, and over one million people have been displaced. Children’s lives and futures are at risk – we urgently need your support to protect them, please donate today.
DONATE NOW TO OUR GAZA EMERGENCY APPEAL
We are already responding through partners, distributing water and hygiene products, and preparing food parcels for families. Our teams in Gaza and across the region are ready to provide further support as soon as it’s possible to do so:
- Setting up safe spaces for children and providing mental health and psychosocial support for children and their caregivers.
- Deploying our Emergency Health Unit and procuring essential medical equipment.
- Providing emergency e-vouchers and multi-purpose cash transfers so families can buy food, medicines and other essentials.
- Setting up temporary learning spaces and repairing damaged schools.
We urgently need your support to provide the essentials children and families need to survive and help them recover.
PLEASE DONATE NOW
We believe all children have the right to a life free from violence and to live in peace. While Save the Children is not currently working in Israel, we are deeply concerned for all children suffering from the escalation in violence. At this time, the Government of Israel has not requested additional support from the international humanitarian community as most of their needs are well covered by the government and civil society.
