Jess Brennan - Media ManagerĀ 

With a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, majoring in International Relations, Jess has seven years of media and communications experience in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors. Previously, Jess worked for Victoria Police and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child rights peak body SNAICC – National Voice for our Children.

Alex Sampson - Media Manager

Alex Sampson - Media Manager

Alex has close to a decade’s worth of experience as a journalist, most recently with News Corp. Here she won awards for her work uncovering stories on urban and rural food insecurity and the trafficking of people for forced labour on Australian farms. In 2016 Alex earned a Master of International Relations from the University of Melbourne, majoring in food security.

Evan Schuurman - Asia Media Manager

Evan Schuurman - Asia Media Manager

Evan is Save the Children's Asia Media Manager covering a region spanning 17 countries from Afghanistan to the Philippines. Evan is based in Bangkok, where he leads Save the Children's engagement with regional and global media in Asia.

Evan has been deployed to the Philippines following Typhoon Haiyan, Jordan and northern Iraq for the Syria crisis, Nigeria and South Sudan after outbreaks of violence, Vanuatu following Cyclone Pam and Fiji in the aftermath of Cyclone Winston, and Ethiopia for the drought response.
