At the heart of our Op Shop is a versatile workshop area. This space will be the venue for hands-on events ranging from upcycling workshops to DIY classes. It’s a chance to get creative, learn new skills, and contribute to sustainable living practices. We’re also excited to host reading groups and other community events that foster a love for books and bring people together in a relaxed, social setting.
Our shop features a dedicated book section and chill-out space, where you can browse and relax. For families, we’ve included a kids’ corner that’s designed to be both fun and educational, making it a perfect spot for children to engage with activities while their parents browse.
The ever-so-handy Men's Shed have teamed up with Save the Children to build a stunning feature tree destined for the children's section of the Butler store. The 3.5m high, hand-crafted wooden tree will be a hub for children to read, relax and play while their carer's shop.

We believe in the power of community and invite you to be part of this exciting venture. There are a number of ways for individuals and businesses to get involved:
- Volunteer with us: We welcome individuals and businesses to join our team of volunteers. Whether you can spare a few hours or a few days a week, your support will help us create a thriving community hub.
- Donate to us: We are always in need of gently-used or brand-new items. Donations help us stock our shelves and offer quality goods to the community, so consider decluttering your home or office and supporting our cause.
- Social media shoutout: Spread the word about our Op Shop by sharing our story on social media and help us reach a wider audience to support our work.
- In-store experience: Visit us and experience the vibrant atmosphere of our Op Shop. Share your experience with your followers and encourage them to come by and explore all that we have to offer.
- Exclusive events: We will be offering opportunities for individuals, businesses and organisations to host or participate in exclusive events at our Op Shop. Engage with the community in a meaningful way and be part of the dynamic activities we are planning for our location.
