Save the Children is an international crisis aid charity that helps children in over 100 emergencies every year. They have teams ready to go to provide life-saving essentials, such as food and clean water. With over 100 years of helping vulnerable children, we have grown into a global organisation, helping millions of children in over 117 countries as a crisis aid charity and also through our programs that focus on giving children the best start in life. These decades of experience and utilising our global reach enable us to help some of the hardest-to-reach children and fulfil our mission to ensure every child attains their right to survival, protection, development and participation.
Through our
emergency response, we provide lifesaving aid such as food, water, shelter and medical care to people who are starving or in desperate need. Our teams are set up so they can provide immediate crisis aid (within 72 hours) when disaster strikes with the capacity to then stay for as long as needed to help with the recovery process and provide psychosocial support. We create safe spaces where children can play and learn and help to reunite separated families and protect children from harm.
