During a crisis, children’s learning shouldn’t stop, it becomes even more crucial

At a time when children are safely back to school, it’s unthinkable that in other parts of the world some children are living a different horrific reality. As families flee from conflict, they lose crucial access to services, like schools and hospitals. Sadly, the experiences of siblings Danyal* and Maya* in Northeast Syria are far too common with children growing up, and even born, in conflict.

You can help restore safe spaces for children like Danyal and Maya to learn, play and develop.

We help give children the chance to have a future they deserve. We make sure children stay safe, healthy and learning. With your help, we strive to reach children whenever and wherever they need us, even in some of the world’s toughest places.

For over a century, we've stood up for children's rights and made sure their voices are heard. We protect their rights to express their opinions, especially on issues that affect their lives.

In 2023 Save the Children Australia directly reached 695,297 people through our services delivered in Australia as 54 reasons and through our International Programs.
