Tima^* was so excited when she found out she was pregnant with her second child in July 2023. Then just a few months after in October, the war in Gaza started and everything changed. Tima’s family was displaced multiple times and now live in a tent in central Gaza. Terrified whether she could give birth safely, Tima was relieved when baby Lana^* was born – one of the first childbirths at Save the Children’s new maternity unit in the Gaza strip. Your donation could help save children like Lana in Gaza and around the world.
