Things to consider before changing your monthly support for Save the Children

You’ve made a wonderful difference  

We can’t thank you enough for the support you have given us. Regular giving such as yours allows us to plan and implement long-term projects. You’ve contributed to lasting change in the lives of children and communities. And in an emergency, like a flood, fire or conflict, you’ve provided a reliable source of funding that has enabled us to respond quickly with life-saving support for children and their families in a time of crisis.

We’re happy to provide you with flexibility and options  

We appreciate that you may need to change your regular donation for a whole range of reasons. That’s why we provide a range of flexible ways you can manage and adjust your support.   

• Reduce your monthly donation:

  You can reduce the amount you give each month. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference to children in need. Even a few dollars a month can help turn a child’s life around and give them the chance of a brighter future.   

• Pause your monthly donation:

  You can pause your regular contributions at any time by contacting our friendly team. Just let us know how long you want to pause – one month, three, or more. We’ll keep your contact details, so you have the option to re-start your support for children in need whenever you are able. 

• Cancel your monthly donation:

  Of course, if you need to cancel your support, our team will process your request straight-away, so there’s no stress and no worries. If you are able to re-start your support at some time in the future, we’ll be here, along with the world’s children, ready to welcome you back. 

• Make a one-off donation:

  Even if you can’t commit to regular gifts right now, a one-off donation will also help a child in need. And whenever you give, more than 80% of every dollar will go directly to helping children grow up healthy and safe.  

Other ways you can support children in need  

Financial donations aren’t the only way you can support children in need. We offer lots of ways you can be involved with Save the Children and make a difference in children’s lives, here in Australia and around the world. 

• Donate goods to our Op Shops:

  Our Op Shops are always keen to receive quality second-hand books, furniture, clothing and homewares. The money we raise from selling these items goes towards helping more children. 

• Volunteer with us:

  Our volunteers range from 18 to 98 years old. They commit some of their time to support our op shops, events, programs and offices throughout Australia. Plus, you can meet new people and make new friends. We couldn’t do the work we do without our volunteers.

• Let’s stay in touch:
