Op Shops

Save money and save lives at our Op Shops

You'll get more than just retail therapy when you shop at one of Save the Children's many op shops, situated in convenient locations around Australia. Not only will you pick yourself up an array of recycled fashion pieces, toys, books and even some vintage and modern day gems, your purchases will help to create better lives for children in Australia and overseas. Our op shops are staffed by friendly volunteers who only add to the unique shopping experience.

Volunteers

Volunteers

All our op shops are run by volunteers and without the regular contribution of volunteers, we simply couldn’t open these stores. In fact, our op shops are such a wonderful place to be, many of our retail volunteers have been with us for many years.

Donations of items to sell in our retail shops are greatly appreciated. So, if you're looking for a new home for your books, bric-a-brac, furniture, clothing and homewares gathering dust on shelves, or you're wanting to make space in your wardrobe for some new threads, please contact your nearest shop.

UPPAREL

UPPAREL

We’ve partnered with reuse, repurpose and recycling leader UPPAREL to have 10kg of your old clothing, linen and shoes collected for only $25. Quality items will go to our Op Shops to be sold to raise funds for vulnerable children. Any items past their ‘wearable’ date will be regenerated, giving them a second life and preventing them from reaching textile landfill. Plus, for the first collection you book, we’ll give you $10 in credit to spend in-store at one of our Op Shops.*

*On your first collection only.
